I have a five month old baby and I do not want to leave her and go out to get a job. So I was wanting to work at home so I could stay home with her. But I just cannot find any jobs online. I have been looking for Data Entry jobs. Does any one know of any websites I could go to and find a Data Entry job? Or maybe another kind of job? I had once before tried the Survey job online, but that dont seem to be legit.
Data Entry Jobs?
I found one. I'm with Stayin Home and Lovin It! and they are partnered with a wellness company that is 21 years old and in good standing with the Better Business Buerau. There is no selling door to door, no big investment and no risk. It's not for everyone, but you can try it out without the risk of losing anything. No get rich quick thing, but it does have the potential to become a full income in a couple of months, all depends on you and how much time you want to invest in it. I have health problems so that is why I needed a work at home business. Many of the people I work with are stay at home moms. It has a great support team, free training and tips and constant support for you to succeed. If you would like more information please go to http://healthybetterme.com
Please be careful when looking for a work at home job. Most are scams. A great place to research a company in the U.S. is at http://search.bbb.org/
You call look up a company by it's name, address, or url and see how they stand with the Better Business Buerau and usually there is a brief description of what they do. Good luck!
Reply:Try this.....its not much but they really paid............http://dellion-hunter.blogspot... Report It
Reply:stayin home and lovin it is a mlm. you do have to sell. you sell the business to other people and make money off poor mothers who want the same thing. its selling products that are organic, which are good, but you have to buy into this. NOT something I enjoyed. I waisted 2 hours of my personal time Report It
Reply:Congratulations on the new baby!
A lot of data entry jobs are scams. They want you to pay to work for them. Work at home jobs are hard to find. Technical, phone work or writing jobs are the most common legit ones. You may want to check out some job leads at http://wahjobs.blogspot.com Plus there is a listing of companies that regularly hire telecommuters
Reply:Pinecone research, Surveysavvy, Greenfieldonline are some of the larger survey companies, who pay regularly . A list of companies you can join for free , with details of amounts you will receive as payment, is available at http://tinyurl.com/mx9ga
Reply:I was just reading your post and was thinking to myself...I completely understand! I too am wanting to make some extra money to help with finances because of the job I'm with now...not great pay! :(
I was actually looking at the Dallas Morning News looking for a job over in Dallas, because we're about to relocate back to TX and noticed an ad for AmeriPlan. I called the number on the posting, who is now my sponsor, and she gave me a lot of helpful information about this company. What they do is provide memberships to their Dental, Vision, RX, and Chiropractic networks to provide the end user NICE discounts on these medical services. Its nice if the family's breadwinner is either self employed or doesn't have these types of benefits available to them. OR...and this is the reason I am writing you today is the way to make more money is actually Recruit more Brokers to work with you to sell these memberships as well to build a nice residual income on top of your commissions for selling these memberships. If you would like more information...check out my website: www.iboplus.com/shannonmoore
Being completely up front and honest here...there is a $50/mo Broker fee you do have to pay. But, with that fee...you get access to their endless training, sales leads, sales kit to get you started and more information about health benefits so you are knowledgeable in your product. I do understand that the $50/mo deal is a turn off to a lot of people, but I figure you do have to spend some money to make money and they take the $50/mo out of your commission checks so it doesn't hurt you too badly.
Check it out sometimes and follow the links if you're interested! Honestly, I am NOT the person that normally does this type of thing..but I am very unhappy at my job and NEED to be able to vent my creative strengths somewhere in a more positive direction! I just started doing this yesterday and I am looking forward to being very successful!

What jobs can a felon get? Particularly a DUI or drug charge?
I'm working as a substance abuse counselor and I'm going to do a project with my clients where I teach them some job skills and hopefully help them look for a job.
I was wondering what kind of jobs a felon can get, particularly if they have a DUI or drug posession charges(some may have 1 DUI or drug charge, others may have more, I'm not really sure). And also, is it even possible for them to get a job other then at McDonalds, etc? They're all drug addicts and many are on probabtion and recieve frequent drug tests that come up clean (if they don't come up clean they get kicked out of our program). We're in FL and my clients are teens to 50-somethings. Please be more specific then just "being honest" that's only step 1, I'm looking for actual job options here. Thanks.

As another person answered, contacting the United Way would be a good place to start. If you happened to be located in Central Florida you can use 211 to access this information. Also I happen to work for Publix Supermarkets (which is located all over Florida) and I know that you can be hired and promoted into management with convictions. Granted, people are usually started at the bottom and work their way up, but Publix pays fair wages and the opportunity to advance is great. (Infact in my store alone we had 3 managers that had DUI convictions in the past year and they not only kept their jobs but are still considered for promotion, however they were able to get to and from work on time every day either relying on rides from others or bicycling to work.) If a new associate shows that they are a good worker and are motivated to advance they will have no problem getting promoted. Publix not only offers a fair wage they also offer an excellent benefits package, health insurance, 401 K, profit sharing, and a laundry list of other great benefits.
I know it might sound a little "cheesy" to work at a supermarket but Publix does offer a lot of training and opportunities for thoes who are willing to work for it. Also be sure to let them know Publix has a zero tolerance policy for drug use... They will be required to take a pre employment drug screening test as well as be required to take random tests as requested. If you are interesed in any more information look up the Publix website and they are free to go to any Publix and apply at the kiosk, their application will be active for 30 days, and they will have to update it thereafter. Remember the very busy holiday season is coming up and Publix will be looking to do alot of hiring now. I hope this info was helpful for you and thanks for doing such a great service for our community. Good Luck! :)
Reply:I would suggest asking the local state employment office in your area. They must have to deal with this all the time.
Reply:Labor jobs such as construction, electricians, etc.

Side Jobs?
Hi,
well i was just wondering if anyone knew of any decent side jobs that may be available in the toronto area. for example i almost got in to this newspaper delivery thing that payed $1000 a month only thing was it meant i had to deliver at 3am which for a student isnt really a good thing so i decided i couldnt do it.
I was just wondering if anyone has done anything in the past with that same idea. something i can do along side my part time job, school, and soccer. a second part time job wont work for me because the availablility me current one requires me to work doesnt allow me much time for another job.
something like an internet job would be ideal for me

Why are certain jobs looked down upon by so many people?
For example, a job bagging groceries and bringing shopping carts in, although it does not pay much, gives plenty of opportunity for good exercise, for helping people, for socializing, and for good, honest hard work. However, even though many people are unable to handle such a job for any length of time, and even though it requires much effort and hard work, many people still look "down" on such a job. The same is true with, for example, restaurant jobs.
So, are people just jealous that they can't handle such a job, or what? I know many restaurant workers and grocery baggers are not very good workers and can even be quite lazy, but I am talking about those that actually do work hard at such jobs (not the lazy ones, but the hard workers). Why are they still looked "down" as if everyone else is better than them even though they work hard and do good work in such jobs?
Why are certain jobs looked down upon by so many people?
I see what you mean. I think blue collar men are the sexiest and manliest myself. I dont like metrosexual primadonnas. The blue collar man is where its at. It is looked down upon until one of these snoots need to actually do the work themselves, then they will have all the respect in the world. Nothing better than to see a man or woman taking on such a job to support thier kids not worrying about their image. These are the truly strong people of our world and need much respect. God Bless them and you.
Reply:Thank you for addressing this issue which I have thought about myself. I even say the people doing the dirty jobs should be paid double what the people sitting in their office chairs do. It seems so unfair. Manual Labor should be paid the most. Report It
Reply:Because our society is composed of shallow creeps for the most part.
Personally, I applaud the efforts of someone who would go through a day of hard work to support themselves. It sure beats going through welfare like a lot of scumbags do.
Reply:No one should look down on a person because of his job. What would happen if we didn't have grocery baggers? Or barbers? Or garbage collectors? Each job has a vital role to play in our society. Without these people our lives would be one hell of a mess.
People look down on these jobs because of ignorance and biases. They should, instead, look down on people who don't want to accept these jobs even though they are jobless.
Peace and blessings!

What jobs should i do to make good money in Marines?
did pretty good on the asvab test and just want to no what jobs i could do to make like 50 to 100k a year in the Marines and in a civilian job, i want to take law enforcement classes in college so i can be a Homicide detective and be on the SWAT team but i am pretty sure that job selection does not make that good of a living so i guess i am going to have to do a job that i don't want to do..... any job ideas what i could do in the Marines that would benefit me in the civilian world that could help me make any where from 50 to 100k or higher
What jobs should i do to make good money in Marines?
First of all, I think you should not work for the money! My ideal is to do that job what i really love doing. There's gotta be some work what nobody else can do the way you do it. Then you can have all sorts of success in it. But it depends on you to find out that perfect job what you must do to be completely fulfilled. Until you find out the job that your soul is specially equipped to do you would not find true fulfillment

You say you're interested in law enforcement. My son is a Marine MP and is interested in staying in law enforcement when his enlistment time is up. Police officers don't ususally get paid much, either, so he decided against that. (We don't seem to do a good job supporting any of those we rely on in emergency situations.) He's finding there are great job opportunities for a former Marine MP who wants to do security work for large corporations. The pay scale for that kind of work is in the range you're looking for.
I hope this helps. Just be sure your ready for the intese rigors of Marine Corps life. It isn't easy, but it will give you some of the best preparation for the kind of work you say you want to do.

Are there any jobs in the military involving astronomy or meteorology?
i was just wondering, because i've always thought of going in the military, (considering how many of my relatives are in)and i was wondering if there are any astronomy related jobs in the military. i love astronomy, AND meteorology (i know there are some meteorology jobs in the air force) and if you know any, will you please list them? i don't think there are many, if any astronomy jobs, but im just curious. So if you know ANY military jobs that have to do with meteorology or astronomy, please list them. oh, and by meteorology jobs i don't mean like weather girl jobs...i mean like flying into the center of hurricanes to take pictures of the eye jobs. :)
Are there any jobs in the military involving astronomy or meteorology?
There are many that involve metorology and astronomy both. A few that come to mind are in navigation, artillary, and intelligence. All three are reliant on knowing what the weather will be. Many navy ships in most countires still use astronomical navigation as a way back-up and double check thier GPS systems. If you are in the artillary, weather affects the trajectory of the shell. Also I have seen instances where magnetic and GPS readings were rendered useless due to magnetic interference (this was above the artic circle). Star readings were used to aim with great effectiveness.
Weather is a very important factor in planning any military operation and you will see that most major militaries devote no small amount of resources into knowing and predicting weather patterns.
Reply:My step son recently joined the Navy as an Aerographer's Mate. He will be learning meteorology and also learning to maintain the equipment that a meterologist uses.
Reply:Yes, there are many jobs in those fields. And there quite needed at the time.
Reply:Yes we have our own weather people. they give area reports for airsupport and conditions for training and missions.

What are "The Jobs which British people won't do"?
I keep hearing about these jobs as a reason why we "need" immigrants.
I live in a fairly poor area and I know a lot of unemployed white British people who would be happy to do ANY job. But whenever they apply for a job here are always lots of other applicants and they don't get chosen.
I have seen people - well qualified people, being turned down for jobs which are actually BELOW their qualification levels - in fact I'm one of them! My boyfriend - a trained mechanic who can't get work as a mechanic as there are not enough jobs - even got turned down for a car valeting job because the interviewer just liked someone else more or decided they were more suitable. I have no idea. It was through no fault of his own!
So I really don't beleive these "jobs noone else wants" exist and they are just a figment of the Left's imagination to justify the rampant immigration. As far as I know the only time we had this sort of full employment was back in the 1950s.
What are "The Jobs which British people won't do"?
If that really is a question being asked, that's really funny because that's the same crap being tried over here in the US.
Ah playbook politics at it's finest.
Reply:cleaning toilets?
Reply:Ah, good question. Therefore, two interesting ideas have just risen from my head...
In response to your comments about the unemployment problem since the 1950s - more jobs were available during the 1950s, as machinery, including computers, was not so widely available. However, when machines were made to do jobs that humans could, they replaced people with machinery since they were more economical! As a result, more people could not gain a job since machines, including computers, were used an alternative.
"Jobs that no-one else wants"...? Well, that's down to personal opinion, rather than choice. It depends on the person's background, opinions, wants/needs, experience(s) and qualifications.
Reply:The left???? Get real, the UK has a right-wing government. And half of our immigration woes are due to EU laws allowing free migration between member states.
Reply:immigrants will do jobs for less money ie cleaning a toilet
immigrant charges £5
uk resedent charges £25
SO WHO WOULD YOU RATHER EMPLOYE

Reply:Britains like to earn from their bed, that's why over 1 million Polish are doing our jobs and then we have the nerve to whinge.
Reply:Cat_the_aussie, you have obviously not been to britain - whilst Scotland has the worst dental records in Europe britain as a whole does not. The plumbing industry is paid extremely well and there are many plumbers. Also i dont know how the rumour was created about brits not bathing but thats b*ll too.
With regards to the question, there arent any jobs we wont do provided we get fair pay.
Reply:Ladymoonlight, the last time I checked it was Eastern Europeans- mainly Poles - taking a lot of the jobs the English 'might' have taken! Are you insinuating that Eastern Europeans are 'not white' and only 'white' English people are 'white'?
I agree that their is too much immigration here but there are also far too many English-born and able-bodied people of different ethnic backgrounds who spend too much time scrounging off of the benefits system who should be made to work!
Benefits should ONLY be for people who are very young, elderly, mentally or physically disabled or those who have been laid off through no fault of their own and need assistance in getting re-employed, especially in areas of limited employment. Benefits should also ONLY be for people who have been working continuously here for a year or more - not for people 'just off the boat.'
Reply:I totally agree. I believe there is a core of employers who use the CBI, the Confederation of British Industry, as a mouthpiece to bleat out this tired rationalisation.
This is all the excuse they need to justify the employers hiring virtual slave labour from abroad and treating them like beasts of burden.
It's not fair on us Brits - but trust me on this, it's even less fair on the immigrants, who are forced to live in the sort of living conditions that you wouldn't see dogs living in.
Of course we Brits wouldn't take on such jobs. We'd probably be a hell of a lot more savvy, and demand (a) the minimum wage at least; (b) working conditions that have a greater survival rate than 25%.
Otherwise, were it not for these gangmasters using the CBI like this, I don't believe there'd be anything we wouldn't touch.
Reply:Can i make a suggestion, move house to an area with more prospects or be prepared to travel further to work.

It isn't that the majority WON'T do the jobs, its that the wealthy, who own the means of production would rather have you believe so that you believe society would collapse without the work of immigrants, when in reality it would just be their pocketbooks, having to pay a fair market value for the services provided.
And on that note, its neither a left nor right issue. In the United States, particularly California, it is the conservative Republican party that favors immigration for these reasons.

Incidentally, the Tory government in the mid fifties carried out the same policy and used the same excuse.
The jobs no one applies for are usually in the service industry which has always been notorious for low pay and poor conditions.
One way to combat this policy is to spread the word to the immigrant workers that they are being exploited and also boycott any business that you find paying poverty wages.
There are thousands of post graduates and highly qualified people who are either unemployed or working for the minimum wage, but just peruse the company profits!
