Do you list jobs where you've only worked for a few months, if you had another long term job at the same time?

I'm a fulltime college student, and I've been on the same job five years, but have tried a few other jobs during this time which I didn't like, so I left after a few months. Is it considered lieing on the application if I don't list the short term jobs? Can an employer find out?

I want to leave my current job, but only if I can find a place that pays better, where I feel more comfortable. Otherwise, it's not worth leaving a job I've been on five years.

So, when filling out job applications, do you list all employers, including those where you only stayed a few months? How long would you have to work at a job before you'd consider listing them on your application? I'm worried that employers may be turned off if they see I've worked a couple of jobs 3-6 months and then left, even if I did remain employed on another job over five years during that time.

Do you list jobs where you've only worked for a few months, if you had another long term job at the same time?
No. You don't need to list all the short term jobs. However, there is one exception. If you have acquired a relevant skills for the new job you are applying, and the only way to mention that relevant skill on your resume is to include the short term job, then you should list the job.

Best wishes.
Reply:No not generally. Then the employer will want to know why you were only ther for a few months and will think you are not able to keep stable employment. If you think they may help you to get the new job you can refer to them as examples in your interviews and refer to them as term positions or work experience..
Reply:I have a few jobs that I only worked at for a few weeks. I never listed them. The only thing you have to worry about is explaining the gaps where you left those jobs out. Other than that, they wont know.
Reply:only list them if you think you are rehire able such as you gave them a notice before you left, a previous employer cant say exactly why you are not rehireable or rehireable because of lawsuits/defamation of character, so if you think they would say you are rehireable then yes but say it was supplemental income along the way, and that you are now looking for a new job in your career path
