What jobs are the immigrants doing that no British person would do?

every other posting i read about immigration says we need more to do the jobs the british person would refuse to do,





there are nine employment agencies were i live, ive registed with all of then, [no reply] but all the new immigrants [and there are alot] seem to be working for the agencies,


even the job centre admits over 80% of the jobs they advitise are agency jobs,so if there not gonna employ me becuase im english and the job centre dont have any jobs, [ must be all of the jobs the british dont want to do] , more of a case of im all right jack, cant see the problem [till its youre job]

What jobs are the immigrants doing that no British person would do?
People will hire immigrants because they know immigrants will work hard for little pay and THATS what british people (and Americans) aren't willing to do.





Immigrants are not literally stealing jobs like ppl say, they dont go into a place and tell the employees "get out of here i'm taking your job" its the employer!


I know of alot of immigrants here living in tiny apartments or shared rooms, and having to pay with the little money they get from washing dishes, bussing tables or cleaning. They use little money to live on and people think they're living here like kings? Give me a break! People should get to know a family of immigrants, watch how hard they work and how little they have yet theyre surviving before they go judge and want to throw them out of the country.


Immigrants work harder and longer hours than the employees in McDonalds on a $100 less than minimum wage paycheck, WHO HERE IS WILLING TO DO THAT? and they dont even complain about the wages theyre happy to just work, but no one treats them fairly.


My friend who is an immigrant works at a pizzeria and he tells me how his co-worker get hit and yelled at by the boss. The boss burned a guy with hot spatula and he kicked him in the leg, the guy had pain in his leg for a week but he wasnt aloud to get any days off.


I wish i was making this up, but its true and i've heard more and worst stories.

Reply:The agency must not be a good agency. They are supposed to guarantee you'll be hired or your money back. Maybe you're just getting scammed while you're whining about immigrants.





I've went to agencies here in New York where there are many immigrants and I pay them a 100 dollars and they send me to get a job right away, if i don't like it or if i'm not hired they have to find me another place where i will stay for at least a week. Theres another agency where i dont even have to pay until I'm hired for sure. I'm not an immigrant so why has this been easy for me? I have worked with immigrants and i see the harsh treatment they get. They are worked overtime like everyday and do filthy jobs for little cash.
Reply:There no job here in the UK, that a British worker will not do, you just have to pay them enough money to do it. Unfortunately foreigners will work for next to nothing, as for them its an improvement on their present standard of living, Here employers are taking advantage of that, and getting what is basically slave labour, this in turn keeps their costs down, which keeps inflation down. If they had to pay a British worker the going rate, costs would escalate, which would push up price's in turn pushing up inflation. The governemnt is fully aware of this, but its main objective is to try and keep inflation under control. Don't believe for one minute, its got anything to do with the British being lazy.
Reply:I dont know, but I know there isnt a job im unwilling to do and when I had to leave my last job as a result of ill health and when I got back to work it took me 4 months to find another job and everywhere i applied had Africans, Asians, and Poles working there, I think its like you say a case of 'im alright jack'

nearly all cleaner jobs are done by 'older' women and immigrants. We used to have an 'old lady' cleaner who was very chatty and pleasant. she told me that she was giving up because her family didnt like her walking home in the dark (this was autumn/winter last year)


they work awful hours and accept lousy wages. no 'british' person would take the job

Reply:My boyfriend is an immigrant. His family share a one bedroom apartment. They have a bed and a futon in the living room and two beds in the bedroom they have to share it all. All of them work and the little sister goes to school she's working hard to be a lawyer for the family's hope to a good future, what are you doing? complaining your life away.





Stop complaining! unlike them you can get a job in an office, you can get paid fairly and you can sue people if they dont. You can quit your job any time they cant because its not easy for them.

Reply:I do'nt believe that it is a case of the British not wanting to do the jobs,it is the case of not being able to afford to do them.Most British people pay very high rents/mortgage plus all the other bills and the wages these jobs pay are not enough to live on.I live in LIncolnshire and there are thousands of immigrants working the fields and factories round here and some of them live in the most appalling conditions and very over crowded so they can send their money home.They also come over in their own cars which have no road tax,mot or insurance and the police do nothing!If we did'nt have to pay out all odf these things required of a British Citizen,then we could probably be able to afford to work for the minimum wage(allthough hubby only 15pence and hour over that anyway).There is no fairness iff you are legal and observe all the rules and regulations imposed upon us by the British Government etc.
Reply:People want cheap food in the shops which drives down the price farmers can pay workers, so the only workers who can work for low money are immigrants.





who will in turn send the money out of the British economy and back to bolster their own economy.
Reply:how many people do you know that wont get out of bed for anything less than ??? well those are the jobs the immigrants take! fare play to them, brits are so lazy! they moan, complain all the time,there so badly done to! oh what a bloody shame! get real britain, get to work!!

I think you may have just answered your own question.. and it's all very well bleating about foreigners undercutting us and working for peanuts - but how many of you give that a thought while you're tucking into your lobster thermadore and ordering another bottle of plonk?
Reply:I am in West Lancashire and most of the land is in arable production. I know a number of farmers in the area and they tell me that they cannot find native labour for crop gathering. A lot of produce can be picked mechanically but some veggies such as leeks, cabbages, lettuce, celery have to be picked by hand and trimmed. It is back breaking work and the only people willing to take it on are mainly eastern europeans. They also have to live in grotty old caravans for the season and they barely get above minimum wage. However, they are prepared to do it and I am reliably informed that they are prepared to graft, don't skive and don't insist on a tea break every hour. So, there you are - plenty of jobs up here.
Reply:isn't this just a historical question? the eastern European workforce that i assume are the 'immigrants' are no different from the Irish, Afro Caribbean and Asian communities that have done the same jobs for the same low wages over the last hundred or more years
Reply:i couldnt get a job for nearly a year because the immigrants had took all the jobs, there are so many people i know now adays who want obs but cant get them because everyhere is full like you said.


I hope we back out of this eu sooner rather than later.
Reply:They are working in immigration. If you are Muslim you don't need a Passport now, just go to London Heathrow go through Pakistani Passport control and you are let straight in the country.
Reply:I don't think it's the job so much as the pay being offered.
Reply:It's not that they do jobs british people would refuse. Just that they do them for a lot less money. One place I visit now has 5 Brit workers compared to 2 years ago when there were 40+. The rest are foreign workers. The owner said his wages bill has been cut by 40%. It's a side effect of allowing open immigration from new EU countries. Many said it would happen and it has. I think they call it "open economy". Trouble is it's open for any Tom, Dick or Harry who'll work for peanuts.
Reply:Try going into all the agencies again... don't talk in English, mutter in random foreign phrases you may have picked up along your travels and give them a dodgy home made passport or something - they will probably snap you up in no time! :-)
Reply:Work for £3.00 an hour, share a bed on a rota basis, share a house with 16 other people, save £3000 so that you can go 'home' and buy a house.





Just give up! If you want a decent life move to eastern Europe, and exploit the shortfall they have in labour because their people have all moved here.
