What jobs should i do to make good money in Marines?
First of all, I think you should not work for the money! My ideal is to do that job what i really love doing. There's gotta be some work what nobody else can do the way you do it. Then you can have all sorts of success in it. But it depends on you to find out that perfect job what you must do to be completely fulfilled. Until you find out the job that your soul is specially equipped to do you would not find true fulfillment
Reply:.To make 50k in the marines, try being an

E-9 with 10 years service.
Reply:Finance, Admin, Intelligence, Aircraft Electronics dude, Aircraft Mechanic dude.
Reply:I think you are in for the wrong reasons. We have people in the Service who want to be their, not only for themselves, but for their country. Not people who want to milk it. We need dedicated people in our military not people who just want money. You should look out for yourself and plan for the future, but it seems like your already set on that one thing. Hopefully San Diego or Paris Island will hook you up with some real pride, honor, and commitment and service to your country not just yourself.
Reply:your not gonna make that kind of money being an enlisted man in the military for about 10 years or more.....check the pay charts, as far as it preparing you for a job in the civilian world that pays that much look around before you pick your job and figure out what you want to do when you get out and pick something in that field.......but you really shouldnt join the military for the pay, if you do first of all you probably wont make it......and secondly you will be sadly disappointed when those $500 paychecks start rolling in every 2 weeks.
Reply:6694 Aviation Information System Technician. You establish and maintain computer networks for the DOD system. You work with fiber optics, cat 5, NICs and much more. Plenty of application outside of the military (its actually the fasted growing field) and even with civilian contractors to the militar.
Reply:You're not going to make "good money" in any branch of the military. This country may be good at saying "we support the troops", but we're not good at actually doing that.

You say you're interested in law enforcement. My son is a Marine MP and is interested in staying in law enforcement when his enlistment time is up. Police officers don't ususally get paid much, either, so he decided against that. (We don't seem to do a good job supporting any of those we rely on in emergency situations.) He's finding there are great job opportunities for a former Marine MP who wants to do security work for large corporations. The pay scale for that kind of work is in the range you're looking for.

I hope this helps. Just be sure your ready for the intese rigors of Marine Corps life. It isn't easy, but it will give you some of the best preparation for the kind of work you say you want to do.
Reply:Aircraft maintentance, diesel mechanic.

Hoo-Rah gets harder as you get older.
Reply:To 'make good money in Marines', 'like 50 to 100k a year in the Marines', you should not enlist at all. You should get yourself off to college, study, and look for civilian employment.

You should not enlist, your reason has nothing to do with duty and honor, only money.
