Jobs With Minimal Training?

I'm 18 years old and have only just started in the workforce, hence I've only had about 5 months of experience and I know that if I want a better paying job experience will help. Becuase of that I'm considering going to school for a small trade like Bartending or Nail Tech to make more that $7 p/h which is how much I make now, and considering what I'm foing (Pantry chef) I think I could make more somewhere else. The problem is I want a job that will look like I'm intrested in my major career path so anything business or medical. SSSOOOO can anyone think of jobs that I can do with a short term schooling (No more than 6 months) or jobs period that a petite girl could do (No Stock or anything like, I wish I could but I'm too weak) or any job that doesn't require any schooling. So basically a job that:

1.Minimal Schooling or none

2. Can do in afternoon/night

3. Petite girl can do

4. Pays ALOT more than $400 every 2 wks

Jobs With Minimal Training?
ok i see half of these people arent even answering your question.

you want a job in the MEDICAL FIELD that you don't have to go to school for no longer than 6months.

ok, i will answer you!

phlebotomist, cna, emt, ekg technician, huc, all these (in spartanburg) are from 4 weeks, to 6 months long.

go to a technical college around your area and see what kind of health science programs they have and see how long they last... a lot of continuing education programs (like cna or emt, sometimes a phlebotomist) are short lengths like 4-8 weeks. so that would be your best bet. a cna might not be too good for you since you have to be able to lift patients.
Reply:You really are inexperienced at employment. BOTH options you suggested are nearly totally dependent on tips--and some barmaids sell other services besides mixing drinks, having put up with drunks, punk and cursing.

And NEITHER are worth showing on ANY resume if you plan to go into business or "medical".

Gee whiz, young person. Go talk to a career consultor at your school or local retired executives club.
Reply:U have a LOT to learn! In America, ppl have to actually spend time %26amp; effort to make an honest living. There is no quick fix unless u want to go into prostiturion %26amp; end up w/a disease %26amp; dead in the streets! Ur young, discipline yourself, go to school while u can to earn a degree. If u don't like traditional college, try a tech school--u can still make good $$ have a flexible class schedule %26amp; they even give some courses online. Bottom line is, if u want to make good $$ u have to invest ur time %26amp; efforts to get there. U won't be sorry, because once u get the schooling, u will have a great start to ur future! Good Luck!
Reply:Administrative Assistant is a job that requires what you are looking for and can be used as a stepping stone towards any field in the office job industry.

Remember that you will benifit a great deal from volunteering on the side, most people don't realize or think that since everyone else volunteers that there is little to gain. This is very untrue as you will find out if you ever decide to goto school, that volunteering can be a great resource. A lot of people find a job while they are working with the volunteers.

Another point to give here is, that you are going to find the best jobs when you network. Sure, online places like careerbuilder and monster are good for having people see your resume. But, nothing beats word of mouth, almost all the jobs out there are still coming to people in this way. So talk to people, family and friends or ask total strangers about where is a good place to work in your area for what you want. Massive amounts of people are looking for these type of jobs and you showing interest will get you a leg up.
Reply:Burber King, McDonald's, etc. Hospital jobs such as housekeeping, a food service aide (one who works a trayline fixing food for the patients)
Reply:well there are are a lot of jobs out there but you want some thing long term that will earn residual income. my wife works with a MLM multilevelmarketing company. This type of company has great earning potential but you get out of it what you put into it. email me if this sounds good to you.
Reply:I can tell you a stay at home job that you can do. I can tell you more about it if you get back with me so I can explain how it works. I am doing awsome with it. I am a stay at home mom. contact me at bowenquarterhorsesandpaints@ya.
