Jobs And Social Security Question??? Please Help!!?

Are our Past jobs on our Social Security???

When u fill out a job application and u dont feel like listing all ur past jobs down....Is that a BAD thing to not do?

Will all our past jobs be on our Social Security card and will they check to see how many jobs we had in the past???

Thank u all so much....I'm just curious and I hate to always list all of my past jobs when i'm filling out applications and sometimes i dont list all....

Jobs And Social Security Question??? Please Help!!?
lol..NO! u have nothing to worry about.

I dont even think its possibe for them to search ur job history with your social security number. Most if not always when a job ask for ur ss# its for tax purposes are maybe for a background check. ( not for jobs, but for any criminal activities or felonies)

hope this helped.
Reply:Yes Social Security has a list of every job that ever paid to your Social Security number. Employers do not have access to that record unless you work for Social Security. Only you can get the sheet with proper ID etc.

If you tell a employer you worked for ten years, but only list to 5 or 7 years, it tells them you do not follow instructions. They look at your application which is the same as the resume, but just to check if you filled out all the questions. They are not read over the resume in writing for a better understanding.
Reply:they dont have access to your social security records
Reply:Yes, you can track all your jobs through SS.

I use the E-verify system to make sure I hired Bob Smith and not Pedro Gomez. You can find all answers here or below.
