Job Disenchantment: No interest in jobs that I've previously taken;?

I have jumped from job to job to job, looking for a right fit. I tried real estate which I did lousy at and found that my social skills stank (I got anxiety attacks when told to cold-call); I hated office work, which bored the hell out of me; and security (another anxiety filled job; which I did well, but disliked, and finally to the end of it nearly went psychotic, thinking there were attackers in every dark corner). I'm now hunting for a job I have some satisfaction out of and am planning on turning a hobby I have (photography) into a potential career. How do I get employed in that career with the track record that I have of job-hopping. Will the fact that I do photography on my off-hours help my case? Will my passion for photography help my cause in getting employed so that my potential employers overlook the prior track record of jobs I hated?

When our daughter was a baby, a photographer came to our home. He was selling packages that every 2 or 3 months he would come to our home and take professional photos of our baby for the first year. Then he would come every six months for the next four years. I don't remember the cost (it was over 26 years ago) but what a neat idea that was.

Walmart has a picture taking studio. See if they need photographers while you get your business going. Places like Lifetouch take the pictures of students at schools. You could see if any of that type of company needs photographers (I saw an ad for someone needing one the other day) while you get your business going, also.
Reply:Sorry to hear that.

"Right Fit" is recruiter-ease for the PERFECT or exact fit of a candidate to the job requirements in question.

The problem is, no person or job perfectly fits. Therefore, everybody gets laid off in the end. Report It

Reply:Just keep applying for jobs with photography companies or start your own business. When you are in the interview tell them that you were un-satisfied with previous jobs and that some of them caused psychological disorders. Most people understand.
