Some employers hire at 14 1/2. Along with the hire of young people, comes a LOT of rules from the Child Labor Laws. You need to find out what they are before you get a job.





Try these types of businesses:





*Theaters-they offer movie tickets and other movie 'stuff' as incentives for good production and good attendance.


(I have heard great things from both AMC and Harkins theaters.)





*Car washes-they offer base pay plus tips





*Arcades-some offer 'bonuses' in tokens or prizes, friend's passes, or snacks/meals at the arcade.





*veterinarian offices-they typically hire teenagers to be 'pooper scoopers', but the job really is a lot of fun if you like animals. This job is also a very good paying job.





You can also talk to your career center leader at your school. Sometimes the school will hire students to do various jobs around the school-but beware! they might only be 'trash detail' jobs! ;)
Reply:You have to be 15 to work in AZ. Try mowing lawns, babysitting, washing cars, doing yardwork, or any other types of chores that might be needed by your neighbors. You could go door to door with a flyer advertising the work you are willing to do.
